Welcome to my Rocket Piano review — the online piano course by Ruth Searle about how to teach yourself piano. When reading a review, I always like to find out more about the reviewer so I will know how credible they are. I reviewed this course with the determined, beginning piano student in mind. If you are the kind of person that doesn’t follow through on their goals and quits easily, this is not for you. If you are not absolutely serious about learning to play the piano, then you shouldn’t purchase this course. Truthfully, you shouldn’t purchase any piano course. But that’s my opinion. Take it or leave it.

I just wanted to inform you that I reviewed the piano course with the mindset that I had when I was beginning to learn to play the guitar. Piano lessons for beginners is no different. I was serious and ready to develop my talent.

With that in mind, it was a pleasure to review this course.

Teach Yourself  Piano Today – Learn Chording On The Piano

It is easy today with the internet to be able to teach yourself piano and learn to play piano online. At an early age, I was always intrigued with piano music whenever we visited some of our relatives who had pianos.

I remember one cousin of my father’s who would play the piano whenever there was a few gathered around the piano to sing hymns after church on Sunday afternoons.

After playing guitar for a few years and learning to read piano music, I realized that she wasn’t following the notes on the music, yet the sound of her playing was so in tune to the song that you wouldn’t know she wasn’t reading the notes.

It was then I realized she was playing by ear.

I asked her how she played the piano by ear without reading the piano music. That was when I was introduced to playing the piano by chording with the left hand but also using chords with the right hand while still blending the melody in with the chords.

She told me she had never taken piano lessons, but had been self-taught how to play the piano similar the the method I used to learn how to play the guitar.

Not everyone has the opportunity to travel to studios and take music lessons and take piano lessons from piano teachers, but with the internet it is easy to learn piano while taking piano lessons online right on your computer in the comfort of your home.

I don’t recommend learning how to play the piano without the help of a piano teacher, but when that is not possible, lessons for beginners on the piano using piano lessons online to learn how to play keyboard will give absolute enjoyment to fulfill yours dreams to teach yourself piano.

If this is your dream to learn to play piano without spending a lot of money on travel, studio time and piano teachers, the internet makes that possible to teach yourself piano today very reasonable.

Warning

As a musician myself, let me give you a little bit of advice as well as a warning.

Offline or online music lessons are the same. Nothing will be accomplished without this one course of action.

Have you ever had a desire to learn to play the piano but never had opportunity to take piano lessons? Now it is easy to take piano lessons online and teach yourself piano today.

This was my desire most of my life:

  • to learn how to play the piano and
  • how to play keyboard

as I have been involved with playing music all my life.

I am a self-taught musician playing guitar and 5 string banjo since I got my first guitar at the age of 10. I never had access to a piano to take piano lessons growing up but I did learn chords and how to find the keys on the keyboard.

How I learnt chords

How I learnt chords was while visiting my Aunt Ada at age 16 with my parents and she had a piano.

While visiting we had a drunk driver go through a stop sign and hit us broadside and wrecked the car, so we were stranded at my aunt’s place until the car was fixed.

Middle ‘C’

I will always be grateful for my Aunt Ada for being my first piano teacher and for showing me how to find middle ‘C’ on the keyboard and for showing me chords with my left hand. Some music lessons you never forget.

I never took music lessons to learn piano, but have sat a the piano ever chance I had whenever we visited relatives who did have pianos. I taught myself how to read piano music both for the piano and for playing guitar using piano sheet music.

With the internet it is so easy now to take piano lessons from piano lessons for beginners to more advanced piano playing with down-loadable piano lessons online right to your computer.

Fulfill your dreams
